Green Street — More Than a High Street

Over the course of association with the Green Street West SNT, besides duties, hadn't failed looking at Green Street bit differently.

We see the everyday issues of a busy high street — businesses, traffic, environmental concerns, ASB and the many in Public who use the area every day.

Underneath is a much bigger unfolding deserves mentioning with due respect. 

Green Street is a place where enterprise, family networks, different communities, faith institutions and local businesses come together every day to create a living local economy.

As a PCSO, spending time listening to people and businesses gives you a small window into how much effort goes into making a place work.

There are challenges, and there is always more to improve. But there is also considerable energy, resilience and community contribution.

Perhaps that is a key take away for what it is — many different communities, contributing in their own ways, within the same city.
